File size or dimension limitation on background images

Can we add transparency on what the file size or pixel dimension limitation is on the UI? I was able to change my first background image, but any of the other 10 images I downloaded didn't seem to take. I noticed the first image was 1600kb, the rest were above 3000kb. So i resized down to 1080 and it was accepted. Just looking for some feedback on the UI regarding this.
