We should do the following improvements in the integration tests:

Add the name of the branch/commit into the submission alias (or other identifiable field) so that it is easy to identify which commit resulted in which test submission.
Use the ena flyway migration and micromamba docker containers in the workflow tests
Include the backend in testing to automate testing of the full submission process, including the upload of external metadata
