but modbus for midea sounds great, so i must ask you

• what models do you think will work?
• what model do you have?

I search for some multisplit cloudless solution.

I can't tell, but there are dozens of the Midea clones and all looks the same, except the brand.
If your display looks like this:

then there is very high chance that will be workig for you.

Mine is local brand Rotenso
