Is it possible to distill the essence of Christianity into 140 characters? It would be great if that's possible. Basically, a 140-character statement of faith, including a link back to this repo.

Along with this, it'd be great to have a [12-minute][1] summary of the key points as the opening chapter, so a reader who only reads the first chapter of this book are at least informed enough to sniff out idols and to have a firm reference point for faith which they can later explore more deeply and verify for themselves.

I noodled on this a bit more, and right now one single tweet feels too tight. However, two tweets together I think can cover the core message, with room for a link and hashtag in each one!

The gospel

God loves us and wants us to join Him in heaven. We must decide whether to go. Are you in? https://github.com/martyychang/christianity-in-24/ #biblestudy

The mission

We are at war, not physically but morally: good vs. evil; God vs. Satan. Which side are you on? https://github.com/martyychang/christianity-in-24/ #biblestudy

I would like to propose my own contribution:

Accept Jesus, love others, live forever in paradise.

A personal relationship with God through acceptance of what Christ did for you. We give God the glory by loving Him and loving others. Love requires us to obey him & submit to our fellow humans
