Notification not disappearing when clicking the close (cross) icon

Hi Medusa Team,
When clicking the close (cross) icon on a notification, the notification does not disappear or update the UI as expected.

@TALHA0713, looks like you're using Medusa v1. After releasing Medusa v2, we only patch critical issues in v1, and this does not fall in that category. Closing the issue as a wontfix.
