10.6.7 update endless startup

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.install 10.6.3
2.make everything work
3.then install 10.6.7 and have ur computer overheat right before u run 
netbookinstaller

What netbook are you using this on?
hp dv6000 (i know its not a netbook but it worked)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
just the update and for things to run normal... i c my computer start up and 
show the netbook logo then restart and repeat

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
dual boot win 7 and mac os 10.6.3

Please provide any additional information below.
