<p style='text-align: justify;'>I'm a professor of Applied Cybersecurity at the Department of Computer Science and Mathematics of Munich University of Applied Sciences (HM) where I teach classes in different application domains of security. My research interests are generally in the area of security and trustworthiness of critical information infrastructures. In particular, I am interested in the security of digital supply chains, public key infrastructures, security aspects of operational technology, election security, and critical infrastructure protection.</p>
<p style='text-align: justify;'>Before joining HM, I worked as a Senior Scientist in the department of Product Protection and Industrial Security at the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied and Integrated Security AISEC. In addition, I was regularly involved in teaching both at Technical University of Munich's Chair of IT Security and as lecturer for digital security at Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences. </p>
<p style='text-align: justify;'>I have gained extensive international experience in both industry and academia while studying and conducting research in the United States, Israel, Ireland, Estonia, and Germany as well as working in the security divisions of IBM and NTT. Prior to that, I worked several years in the German automotive supplier industry.</p>
