Rewrite the UI in WinUI 3

Hi Chris,

I'd like to rewrite the entire UI of the application using WinUI 3 to modernize the project and align it with the latest Windows App SDK standards.

I’m happy to take on this work and will keep you updated on the progress here in this issue. Let me know if you're okay with me moving forward or if there’s anything you'd like me to keep in mind.

I forgot to mention earlier that this rewrite would most likely mark the beginning of version 3.0. Since it's a full rewrite, it makes sense to treat it as a major version update.

Sounds great, if we do this let's do it in a new repo so we can work on it together and get it up and running. It also needs a redesign on the "model" so it can more easily handle larger XML documents. So for WinUI we need to find (or build) a very efficient virtual tree view.

For naming we need to decide :

1. should it be generalized to be able to edit any structured data (xml, json, yaml, etc) ?
2. should it be outside Microsoft organization so that this new thing is not associated with Microsoft?

and perhaps a new gtihub organization...

Not sure yet about moving it outside Microsoft, that’s up to you to decide. I’m good with supporting more formats like JSON and YAML though.
