I think it would be handy to be able to filter by status. E.g. Untracked, Modified, etc. I know there is already a feature to sort by status, but this filter could be useful in some situations.

Maybe additional filtering e.g. by file name could also be useful.

Filtering on filename is already possible with the tree find/filter widget (Ctrl+Alt+F)
