Integrated Terminal hangs / infinite input loop when using Oh My Posh with external commands after latest update #303485

After the latest update, the Visual Studio integrated terminal becomes unstable when using a PowerShell $PROFILE with Oh My Posh and external commands (e.g., wsl, fastfetch). The terminal appears to hang or enter an infinite input loop, becoming unresponsive. This issue does not occur in Windows Terminal, only inside Visual Studio.
