Even with vendor prefixes not all browsers will support some CSS. Would be great if the extension could display what versions of all the browsers the css is compatible with.

Sounds like it might be out of scope for my extension so without promising anything - do you have an idea of how it would look like and how it might work? =)

Well, would be neat if maybe in the bottom bar of a css file it said compatible with IE8+, Firefox 16+ etc.
