Hello There,

I apologize if I missed it, but are there any release files? I'd like to use this to create a tweaked NegativeScreen inversion mode? Ideally I would love to see this functionality included in NegativeScreen with live preview while you are adjusting the color inversion.

Be Great,

You didn't miss anything, there has been no new version since I moved all my projects to github.

Actually, I'm still a bit unsure whether I want to use the release feature of github, or if I'd rather self-host everything...

Anyway, for now, the current release is available on the project page on my website.

Integrating this program with NegativeScreen is a nice suggestion, but there are a few reasons why it's not the case. From the top of my head:

  • It would be very easy to obscure the screen completely while experimenting (Or it would require additional work to apply the effect only on a limited portion of the screen)
  • I'm not sure how the "drag to see before/after" feature could be implemented
  • It would most likely require a lot of refactoring to make everything work seamlessly and in real time
  • I think only a small fraction of NegativeScreen users want to experiment with color matrices, and I somewhat agree with the "do one thing but do it well" philosophy.
