Workshop Setup

This is a hands on workshop so it require a PC or Mac with preinstalled and preconfigured components to benefit fully from the content.

Prerequisites

Please make sure that you machine are configured with the following:

Mandatory

• Microsoft Azure Account with a Subscription
• Postman
• Azure Storage Explorer
• Visual Studio Code
  • Azure App Service Extension
  • Azure Functions Extension

Strongly recommended

• .NET Core 2.1 SDK or later
• Docker
• NodeJS
• Angular CLI
• Python with Jupyter notebooks (required for bonus tracks)

Optional

Although all backend code can be opened on VS Code, Visual Studio for PC or Mac is required to run the Xamarin Android project.

NOTE Please make sure you install from time to time all critical new releases of Visual Studio to maintain access to the latest capabilities.

• Visual Studio for Windows or Mac (Community Version or higher)
  • Xamarin Tooling
