System Keyboard Shortcuts doesnt work anymore #1525

Describe the bug
System capture input stopped working. My super key is not captured anymore.

Steps to reproduce
Connect to sunshine host. And try to use super+enter to start terminal. It will start in client pc.

Would like to confirm this is the case; Arch Linux with Linux 6.13.1, Wayland. System key capture stopped working after update to 6.1.0.

6.1.0 was out since September 2024. Are you sure it wasn't recently when Arch switched from SDL2 to sdl2-compat?

I also have this on my android phone with bluetooth keyboard while connecting to my linux PC.

Android is a separate issue. The Android OS doesn't provide support for capturing system keyboard shortcut.

@cgutman you're right; let me see if a recompile against current sdl2-compat fixes the issue. It is likely related to that change. I also tested another client on another platform to make sure it's not my sunshine server, but that one sounds great, so most likely it is in the moonlight-qt client and its dependency on sdl2 or something thereabouts.

A recompile against the latest sdl2-compat package on Arch doesn't change, still no system keyboard shortcuts. Additionally, I've discovered I have broken audio (distorted sound, not cutting out, but like, robotic sounding).

Changing my Mod key for client fixed temp. It seems like conflicting if they have both same Mod key for hyprland. But it wasnt a problem before.
