Goal

Enable use of a pre-existing profile system, like ftrack or Shotgun, to co-exist with Allzpark, without a destructive conversion process.

Motivation

Sometimes you're setup to make additions and changes to an existing external system and just want those to show up in Allzpark, to leverage requirements and environment for applications and libraries other than the profiles themselves.

Implementation

A Rez repository plug-in should do the trick; one for ftrack, one for Shotgun, and general instructions for how to make one for yourself. It'll be able to load packages from said system as though they were regular packages on disk.
