Just wondering: why is the image so big? I'm not sure that Matlab compilation will reduce the size. There might be other options, is your Dockerfile available anywhere?

For 2.1, Boutiques and BIDS apps are two separate steps. I guess both are relevant to your project. I would start with BIDS apps and then add the Boutiques layer if relevant. We have a BIDS app importer in Boutiques (see bosh import --help) so it should be straightforward.

@glatard This is what I am trying to find out. It should not be, I tried mcr image it was around 7GB again, it should be around 2 instead.

BIDS descriptions are not helping me with the data I process right now. Can't I give Boutiques a try first?
