I noticed a new Instaseis installation problem and posted a workaround.

The issue occurs for me on a Sonoma M3 Max Macbook Pro. While similar issues have occurred before, I don't recall this specific issue on my earlier M2 and M1 Macs.

If anyone happens to know modifications to the conda environment file or setup.py that would avoild the CC=gfortran workaround, please feel free to respond.
