Hi ndsvw ! Thanks for this extension, exactly what I was looking for.

The only stuff that I still have to do (each time) is change the formatting toyyyy mm dd : I am a french user, and the app formats the date to dd mm yyyy ... as it should, according my system ...

But I use the anglophone yyyy mm dd for the automatic logical lexical sorting that provides this format (that i paste as a prefix to many bookmarks labels, ex: "2025 02 03 - This day is a sunny day").

It would be great if you could add an option to force the date formatting to EN/US, regardless of the system.

Thanks again for the good stuff !
Best, Stan.

Hi,

Thank you.

I can't promise to implement this, because it sounds like a "niche problem", but if I find the time... Maybe, I'll do it... Or maybe, someone else wants to implement it...

to force the date formatting to EN/US

But EN/US is more like mm dd yyyy, which does not allow sorting as you want it to be, right?

The library I'm using for date formatting technically offer toISODate() for the notation 1982-05-25 or .toFormat('.....') for arbitrary notations.

Notes for me: It'd probably require creating a settings page, which the extension does currently not have.
