device type weight

Hello,

Did anyone succeed in importing a devicetype in netbox including weight ?
I don't understand what I did wrong : for example weight is not imported with this device and netbox 3.4.4

Hello, what are you using to import the definitions?
If you are using Netbox-Device-Type-Library-Import they do not currently support weight. I have already created a feature request when we implemented this which you can see here.

Since this is not a NetBox maintained repo we cannot guarantee comparability for all features.

Thanks for your reply.
For now I just copy / paste yaml in the netbox GUI.
The next step will be to import the yaml device type files using code, and minitriga / Netbox-Device-Type-Library-Import is the only way to do it that I found so far, so thats nice that you already created a FR.

Could you please create an issue in this repo for the NetBox GUI import problem you are having? I will take a look at why that might not be working that way
