Multi-monitor Screen Toolkit plugin issues

@ycf-anon, first thanks for your great work!
the issue itself is: when I place a mirror widget on my first monitor, the equivalent screen area on my second monitor becomes unclickable - mouse events don't pass through to windows underneath. Removing the mirror from monitor 1 restores clickability on monitor 2.

@kevichi7 Hey, so sorry for the late reply — I missed the notification.

Yeah, this is a real bug, thanks for pointing it out. The mirror creates a transparent layer-shell window on each screen, which ends up blocking mouse input on non-primary monitors.

If you’d like to take a shot at fixing it and open a PR, that’d be really appreciated. I can take a proper look at it after

another problem i found:
when i try to spawn mirror in the newest update on my second monitor, it spawns a black square instead on this second monitor, while doing all the same things from my primary monitor works as intended

It’s currently bound to the primary monitor — I’ll fix that. I’m not using a multi-monitor setup myself, so I might need a bit of feedback once I push a fix

@kevichi7 Could you please try this file? Replace the Mirror.qml and Main.qml files in .config/noctalia/plugins/screen-toolkit with the new ones, then restart your shell to load them. After that, test it on your setup and let me know if the multi-monitor issues are resolved

found another problem:
when I use annotate widget and screenshot a rectangle of some sort, this rectangle shows on both of the monitors.
I feel like it should only appear on the monitor where I actually made the screenshot.

annotating stopped working on both monitors:

I see that Annotate is still hitting the multi-monitor issue, and Pin/Record behave the same. I’ve tried another fix — please replace your Annotate files with the ones in this new ZIP and see if it resolves the problem.

I really appreciate you testing carefully like this — it helps a lot. I’ll also double-check the screen detection logic to make sure it behaves correctly on all monitors

Now it's working again.
But when I use annotate on my second monitor - it spawns a rectangle on the primary monitor, not on the second one as I want. But that's like half of the equation already.

tho performance-wise when i apply like three layers of highlighter or other brush - it starts to get laggy. maybe you can do smth about optimizing the whole thing, but that's not much really as you usually don't need that much on an annotated screenshot anyway
have you considered vector-based rendering for the annotation layers maybe? that's gonna make it so much better in terms of performance

I’ve tried another fix for the monitor issue , could you replace the Annotate files with the ones in this ZIP and test again on your second monitor? Hopefully this one finally targets the correct screen.

Vector-based rendering is an interesting idea too, but that would be a bigger change — I’ll keep it in mind for later.

Also, I tried fixing Pin and Record the same way as Mirror and Annotate. Please check this file as well. Hopefully, this will resolve the multi-monitor issue. Thanks a lot for your help and debugging
