Keyboard bugged at recovery (v7.0.0)

I'm on Android 12 trying to set up Vault 7.0.0. The keyboard input seems bugged during the key recovery process. It will allow me to enter the first letter but not a second one. The delete button is also not working. If I use one of the proposed words, I can remove that word again but will be stuck in the same situation. I added a small video.

Edit: This seems to be an issue with Google's own keyboard. I installed a different keyboard which seems to work fine. I also tried to switch back to Google's keyboard but the issue persists.

I have this too. It's quite annoying since I wouldn't want to install a 3rd party keyboard!
I installed a 3rd party keyboard, but new problems appeared:

• can't delete a word if you had it wrong
• if you close the keyboard, clicking in the text area doesn't bring it back
