closing nvim after capturing template #1143
|
Hi, I would like to be able to quickly capture todos from the command line so I have set up a alias that starts nvim like this: nvim -c "Org capture t" and so this takes me straight to the capture template. But now when I am done with the template I am informed that my default org file has been written to and "Press enter or a command to continue'. But when I noe press enter I am left with an empty nvim buffer that I explicitly have to clkse which is a bit annoying ... so is there a way to set things up in such a way that nvim exits when I am done with the capture template? I hope this is understandable. |

If you are not using the new If you are using ui2, it is currently not working because new ui2 creates some hidden windows and buffers that are then detected by orgmode as active windows, thus preventing the closing of the Neovim. I'm looking into that. |

I pushed a fix in 6909d18, so my suggestion from above comment should work anyway. |

vim._core.ui2, this should work for you:If you are using ui2, it is currently not working because new ui2 creates some hidden windows and buffers that are then detected by orgmode as active windows, thus preventing the closing of the Neovim. I'm looking into that.
