A conversation came up recently around when it's best to use the Settings Registry vs AZ_CVARs. They both have their place but for certain things it can be wise to prefer one over the other.
For this type of information (that doesn't quite fit in the coding standard) it would be great to have a 'Best Practices' page we could maintain somewhere. This could live in the 'governance' folder in sig-core, or it could be added to the website. It would definitely be useful to have a place for this kind of information to live though (I'm just not sure of the delivery mechanism right now).
Does anyone have any thoughts on this? sig-documentation may be interested too.
