Open google doc issue 26: RSpec filtering

Below is a literal copy of google doc issue 26:

1. RSpec filtering -- wanting only particular information from all resources, e.g. nodenames. Especially to shrink the ad rspecs. → proposal github. Beef up getversion adding the type of testbed.

Jordan: Currently, it seems the only choice for a client is to request a full description of all resources. How about the possibility to add filters, and field selection for more efficiency ?
Oscar: Since using generic filters require some degree of RSpec standardization, a possible solution would be adding an option selecting short/full RSpecs when listResources/Describe. When the users ask for the Short RSpec format, is on the Testbed the decision to apply these filters.
