I believe Python 2 support will be dropped with the 5.0 generator once released, but it's still in Beta. After that is released I'll play around with it and update my claims accordingly. Will definitely leave this issue open until then to keep it in sight though, thanks! |

It's been a few years now, but seems like the relevant place to post this: maybe the Readme should mention something about openapitools/openapi-generator, as currently it's unclear whether the projects are related and how they compare. |

Not really a bug, but the README claims that https://github.com/OpenAPITools/openapi-generator is producing Python 2 code only, which apparently was dropped in August 2020 or so, see https://github.com/OpenAPITools/openapi-generator/projects/11#card-42637715. Maybe Python 3 was already supported even earlier.
