Adopter Registration Pop-Up Keeps Popping Up

The Adopter Registration pop-up keeps appearing at the start of a session even after having been submitted in the past.
What should happen is that it stops popping up after a successful submission.

It is assumed that the current code doesn't check wether the form has been submitted.
