There are a couple chores to do associated with the labels we add to GitHub issues.
- standardize labels across all supervised repositories, where reasonable. A regular list of labels with standard meanings in every repository will benefit any potential contributor in finding issues (for example,
good-first-issue and help-wanted), or determining which issues to avoid (for example, core-team/maintainers)
- Rename the
core-team label to maintainers
- Update label descriptions with
opentofu repository's FAQ wording, or something similarly appropriate
- Remove the label descriptions in the FAQ
