I have been kicking around making a special ISO for my mother-in-law (she passed last Dec'23) but now there is no need.

Reason: she was a self taught IT disaster which became worse as her mind left her, so she ended up making any system she used a total mess. I tried to support her over the years but I felt it was best if she had an automatically reset environment - a live user as it were.

So I played with various ISOs but she knew it wasnt Windows, number 1, and 2 it wasnt hers, or rather it wasnt installed and setup for her...she kept messing with it unil she broke it. One time she got a neighbor to help her break in lol

A few years ago I discovered Spiral, and really liked it. Last year I started using Spiral for my mom and for a while it was fine until she started unplugging things and I had to manually reset everything ><

Anyways, to make a long story short, I did finish her ISO this past Novemember but she went ahead and decided to up and die on me :/ She was a mean old bat ... but I digress. I made a new CLEANED up version which does configurations geared toward my mom and was wondering if any one else might want to play with it?

Let me know, I can put it on my Google Drive to share the resulting ISO.

please note, this ISO isnt meant to be installed - it can be, but it is designed to boot it and forget it...You know, in case someone wants unplug everything ><

This way I can have mom use the system...a system she cannot change and one which always reset to defaults :)

Does this mean I dont play well with others or that I am pathilogically insane? Trust me, my mom will drive anyone insane :)

pps - the system auto boots with Ventoy, that dreded ISO destroyer - you are warned as I tend to go against any pack like movements :P ...
