Hello! I am performing some optogenetic experiments where I am using arudino to turn on high power LEDs while an animal is in a harness and then recording the behavior. I would like to detect the frames when the light comes on in the video. I am wondering if there is a way that I can threshold the region of interest (where the illumination from the LEDs can be clearly detected) and create timestamps in a csv format that can be used with the tracking data I have from deeplabcut. I have never used Bonsai before so any help would be greatly appreciated. Happy to provide any additional information you may need for suggestions. Thanks! |

Hi @vgupta558 this tutorial exercise will give you what you need. Since you are aligning with the tracking data from deeplabcut, i suggest using an
ElementIndexafterGreaterThan.ElementIndexwill yield both the frame number and a boolean which you can then save using aCsvWriterand integrate with your deeplabcut output.
