Overview

• This meeting primarily focused on reviewing the changes that are needed to documentation with the release of Bonsai 2.9 as well as some other minor issues/proposals.

Documentation

• Most of the notes on individual articles are collected in this meta-issue (Update documentation for Bonsai 2.9 docs#107)
  • Bonsai Gallery
    • We ran through the quick demo that @glopesdev gave at the last Bonsai roadmap meeting on a simplified workflow for sharing examples by publishing them to GitHub. We also discussed ways of integrating that into a revamped Bonsai Gallery experience.
    • One of the ideas that @glopesdev proposed was to tag and organize examples under a GitHub Topic, and then to simply point the Bonsai Gallery link to that page once it has been properly populated with some content.
    • We also discussed maybe integrating GitHub authentication within the Bonsai Editor at some point to make it a seamless experience to publish examples but that is going to take some work.
    • While we work on refining that idea, in the meantime we will add a deprecation notice to the Bonsai Gallery article.
