Bonsai crashing with no errors

We have been using bonsai in our lab to acquire video data for quite some time now. Suddenly the program has started crashing at random times throughout the acquisition (sometimes within 2 minutes, other times after 45 minutes and everywhere in between) but other times it runs fine. When it crashes the files are all corrupted but there is no error message given, the program just shuts down.
It is happening across multiple of our bonsai workflows which previously worked well and we have not done any updates to the computer or any of the software. There is nothing we can think of that would have changed between when it was working well and when it started crashing. If I look at the CPU and memory of the PC there is no obvious cause that would explain it either. It also happens when I run a very basic workflow just to acquire video and save it as .avi.
If anyone has any advice on what could be causing this it would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried to pipe the stderr of the process to a text file? Eg:
bonsai.exe foo.bonsai 2>log.txt
