I think that's good enough, either the repo or the doc site for a specific version, e.g. https://dss-extensions.org/OpenDSSDirect.jl/v0.9.9/ There is some general discussion at https://discourse.julialang.org/t/how-to-cite-julia-packages-for-academic-purpose/80124/9 and some packages could be useful, e.g. https://github.com/SebastianM-C/PkgCite.jl ODD.py has a CITATION.cff file, so it should generate the "Cite this repository" link. I guess it's better for us to add explicit |

Sorry if this question is already answered somewhere else (likely). I'd like to cite ODD.jl as that's what I use to verify my power distribution system optimization simulations (I also regularly use ODD.py but not for the paper I'm currently gonna be submitting).
For now, I'm going with a generic citation, using the repo page's citation generated using Bib it now! firefox extension:
Would be more than happy to change it to a more appropriate citation which gives credit to the brilliant people maintaining it.
