Will quill stay as the "main" rte editor?

Hey guys :)
I think there was already a discussion about quill several times.
I had a look at the quill repository (https://github.com/slab/quill/) and the last commit was 11 month ago and there are several security issues in the editor. also there was also a big gab between commits with version two (about 6 month) and i'm not sure if the repository is dead. Are there any plans to replace quill?

@dpfahlbusch Yes, we're aware of the current situation about Quill, but so far there's no decision yet about a possible replacement and / or the future of Quill in Pimcore.
As soon as we have any updates on this we'll let you know.

In the meantime: if someone has some ideas, thoughts or a recommendation for a replacement -> you're welcome 😊

Maybe https://github.com/hugerte/hugerte is an option? Magento switched to that a while ago :)
