Sprint Sync and Meeting Minute Threads

My original intent was to enforce a minimum of a bi-weekly update on WG's overall progress against its brief written by the lead and including context to make it broadly understood. I think what you're talking about here is minutes from each meeting, which for some WGs doesn't apply or isn't necessary. My opinion is that if WGs that meet a lot want to share minutes, they can and that's ideal, but what I was solving for were top-line updates, ensuring that you would always be able to find a clear and recent update on the progress of any WG in the index.

@cuevasm Yes, this format only pertains to the 'minutes' -esque use cases.

For the Stacks Core Eng WG's this includes:

1. Sprint Sync (updates published by each WG Lead covering what was done in the sprint that is ending + what will be done in the next sprint)
2. All Sprint Sync (all individual Sprint Sync posts compiled into a single post by me for easy travel and to be used as a meeting agenda during the actual call)
3. Lead Sync (minutes from the call we have every other week with just the WG Leads)
4. Mtg Mins (minutes from any WG meeting that the WG Leads choose to host)

...so the question is: Should a post like this (apples to 1-4 from the list above) be:

1. A single post, with each update (weekly, bi-weekly, whatevs) be added to that original post via the comments OR
2. Would it be more user friendly if the post linked above were broken into (2) posts (one for each Sprint Sync update) and just labeled using the WG: Sprint Sync label?

Yes, I think the minutes are quite overwhelming for 90% of traffic here. I would advocate they have their own area associated with the WG and that can be structured however you recommend.

Then, for the high-level updates from leads that should only be happening every couple weeks, we post those right under the briefs as comments. This allows newbies to go from the very 'what' of this WG through to the latest update from it in one scroll, sans noise, which I realllllly like. For those that want to dive deeper, the minutes and such are available.

I personally find it much easier to just tell people they can bookmark the WG brief and/or follow that single discussion for all the important updates.
