Before Submitting Your Feature Request

  • Check that there isn't already a similar feature request to avoid creating a duplicate.
  • I have seen the FAQ.

Problem

Objective: Introduce an option to enable or disable the inclusion of trailing line breaks when copying text.

Purpose: Prevents accidental command execution when pasting into a terminal by ensuring commands don't execute without an explicit user action (hitting enter) also even if it is handled, it is annoying to remove trailing spaces for somebody who works a lot on the terminal.

Benefit: Enhances safety by providing control over how copied content is handled, particularly for users who frequently work with command lines and scripts on their terminals and VM bash/zsh/shell consoles!

It's not executing in your video, is it?
When I copy the same text and paste it into iTerm2, it doesn't execute and waits for Enter being pressed.
