more helpful messages for error states

generic error states were introduced in #228, and there are a few components (summary, route book, positions, and chart) that can throw and display the same error message.

the messaging was lifted directly from figma, and the problem is that it tells the user it’s their responsibility to solve the issue, which isn’t true. The website should work without requiring any action from the user. We should have more helpful messages here that aren't hallucinated to more clearly identify the issue for the relevant component. The error messages should actually be meaningful rather than providing unhelpful advice to the user.
