How to use Big Bag of Keyboard Tricks?

Hi, I'm trying to use cosmic-epoch and at this point I don't setup a computer without using DreymaR's big bag of keyboard tricks with my own custom shortcuts. see here for the linux version

I'm finding that the install script no longer works for me to set things up. How can I override whatever cosmic is doing for the keyboard to use what I want that standard pop-os lets me do?

If I can't do this, I'm afraid I will need to go away from cosmic, as it's too much of a drawback. TIA!

As mentioned here, the script doesn't work on Wayland.

You can edit the ~/.config/cosmic/com.system76.CosmicComp/v1/xkb_config file.
