Sign-Ups for September 11 CCPD Fall Resumania Still Available!

Join CCPD for the Fall 2024 Resumania, which will take place from noon to 3:00PM on Wednesday, September 11. During this event, students will have the opportunity to have their resume reviewed by employers or career counseling staff for a 15-minute segment, so sign up for your 15-minute time slot today!

Discounted Adobe Creative Cloud Subscriptions Available for Students

DotCIO will be offering Students an option to purchase Adobe Creative Cloud through Rensselaer at a significant discount over Adobe’s normal student pricing. Pricing is as posted and subject to change at any time. Currently licenses purchased through Rensselaer will cost $110 and will be valid from activation through the following summer term or until you are no longer an active Rensselaer student, whichever comes first. NYS Pollution Prevention Institute Student and Faculty Research Symposium Scheduled for September 20

Date: Friday, September 20, 2024 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM - Chemical and Biological Engineering is hosting the Second Annual NYS2PI Student and Faculty Research Program Symposium highlighting "Reagents of Change: Green Chemistry and Safer Chemicals in Products and Industry." The program includes keynote speakers, student-led project presentations and a poster session, and breakfast and lunch. Register by September 16!

Lee, Tao Bringing "Feedback" to EMPAC

Date: Friday, September 13, 2024 7:00 PM - Join EMPAC for Feedback, a concert of charged electro-acoustic music by Charmaine Lee and Conrad Tao, two composer-performers who combine spontaneity and playfulness with virtuosic and rigorous musicianship to create an energetic and hyper-sensorial world of electronic sounds and voice spanning a range of genres. Surrounded by a battery of various instruments, the duo will debut new material designed especially for EMPAC Studio 1—Goodman.

Multimedia Services Announces Reauthentication Requirement for Webex

Starting on Monday, September 23, all Webex applications (desktop or mobile) will require reauthentication every 30 days. Please allow extra time when launching the application to confirm that it is properly authenticated prior to any meeting. This will improve security and ensure the software is updated.

Multimedia Services Announces Mediasite Capture Now Available to Faculty, Staff

Multimedia Services is pleased to announce that Mediasite Capture is now available to staff and faculty through MyMediasite. Capture allows recording of video through a browser without installing any additional software. Please refer to ITSSC for more information on Mediasite Capture.
