Student Course Evaluations Now Open for Summer 2024 Sessions I, III

Date: Thursday, August 1, 2024 (all day) - Course evaluations are now open for this year's Summer I and III sessions. Your feedback is very important to the Institute, the five schools, and their departments, so please complete evaluation surveys for all your courses! Evaluations will be available through Saturday, August 17.

IBM Quantum System One Maintenance Scheduled for August 8

The campus community should note that the IBM Quantum System One will be down for system maintenance from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM ET on Thursday, August 8.

Multimedia Services: Slido Polling Tool Now Available

Multimedia Services would like to inform the Rensselaer community that the Slido polling tool is now available and integrated with the campus' Webex license.

Claire Kruskza Appointed Assistant Women's Basketball Coach

Rensselaer's athletics department has announced the hiring of Claire Kruszka as assistant coach of the women's basketball program. Kruszka joins the RPI bench after capping a decorated four-year playing career at St. John Fisher this past winter.

Session to Review Single Course Enrollment Options

Date: Tuesday, August 13, 2024 3:00 PM - 3:30 PM - During this session, Rensselaer at Work Dean Aric Krause, Ph.D., will review the online graduate programs for working professionals and provide course enrollment options to make an immediate impact on one's work. Participants can also explore courses for developing valuable skills that benefit employee and employer alike. Please register if you plan to attend.

CCPD to Hold URP/Handshake Faculty Training Session

On Friday, August 16, from 9:30AM to 11:00AM in DCC 209, CCPD will host an interactive opportunity for faculty members to learn how to use Handshake for posting undergraduate research positions. Participants will learn about Handshake, set up an employer profile, and prepare to post their first job. Light snacks will be provided. Space is limited, so interested faculty should register as soon as possible.
