Refactor

Overview

As a CF dev, the current code has become quite complex to manage in two files. This is also not good coding practice and needs major refactoring to account for all the dev.

Acceptance Criteria

• Refactor redesign
• Refactor the code
• Keep as much (if not all) APIs compatible
• Ensure all tests pass
