Determine vector data general orientation

I am copying vector information of a pdf file to a new pdf. The problem is that sometimes in the new file, I am saving
the information in 90 degrees clock-wise. Can I get the orientation from the original file and set mine to be the same?
The general height and width of the page remain the same, the problem is with the inside vector information that is rotated in 90 degrees.
