May I suggest using conda install conda-forge::pytorch in the docs instead?

Since the conda-forge version is still alive. Pip is painfully slow where I live. I've been trying to install pytorch (gpu) since this morning and it still hasn't finished downloading dependencies at 110 kbps on my 250 mbps network.

On the conda-forge side, we would be happy to collaborate on wording for a link out to the conda-forge package where it makes sense

Had proposed one idea in issue: pytorch/pytorch.github.io#1909

Though open to discussion on other approaches

Some work still left here. Hence moving to 2.7.1
