Description: Our team plans to continue to engage the end users described in the progress report and include additional
potential users. These are individuals at and outside our institutions but all outside the core Translator community. Our goal is to better understand the diversity in these individuals’ needs. One issue regards data sources--those associated with and those not yet associated with Translator. Another regards formatting of query results so that they are immediately usable by end users. Yet another regards forming of queries themselves, to the extent we can understand users’ abilities and concerns in the absence of a standard UI. Lessons learned from our engagements will be integrated into User-Centered Working Group products.
