I wish I could give a more precise title, but I simply don't have the information with which to do so.

The BeagleBone Black is connected via a USB cable and adapter that I've confirmed support data transfer. The board works fine (boots to eMMC when powered on without S2 being pressed). I open the app, click the USB Mass Storage button, enter my password, hold down the S2 button on the board while powering it on, and… nothing happens. The app just continues to say to press S2, and only the power light on the board lights up. Clearly the app is failing to boot the board, but as far as I can tell there's no diagnostic output to help figure out where exactly the process is breaking down.

Hey @tjnycum Can you confirm if the app asks for the password after clicking the USB Mass Storage button?

  • And, after the app prompts for connecting the board holding the S2 switch, then only you have to connect the board.
  • Following this, if the app is still stuck there, then press the reset or S1 switch on the board.
  • If these things don't work, can you please give this https://github.com/ravikp7/node-beagle-boot a try, clone it, npm install and npm start

Thanks
