Add a message feature on the platform

Hi both,

We’d like to explore the possibility of adding a feature to the platform that allows messages to be sent directly to users via email. Ideally, this would include a filtering option so that messages can be sent in bulk or targeted to a specific groups for example, sending a message only to lead clinicians or to all users within a particular trust.

Would this be possible to implement? Let me know your thoughts and if you need any further details.

I wouldn't want to implement this within the platform. We should keep it to exporting a list of emails with the emails being sent through another mechanism.

My worry is that we would need to implement opt out and extra data governance that is really better done centrally within the RCPCH.
