Question about incomplete synchronization of readwise with logseq #38
Comments
New highlights are not being added |
I seem to have the same problem. The Plugin is just syncing irregularly |
Same here, it seems readwise has abandoned this plugin. When I go to my readwise account, I see all my twitter messages but readwise plugin does not import them |
Can you send your e-mail registered on Readwise to me? (bruno (a) readwise.io) Right now, we don't have an way to edit previous highlights already synced, maybe in the future Logseq will improve the plug-in system and we keep track of the highlights blocks so we can update them with any future notes. |
Hi, It would be great to get this solved! I'm also a paid subscriber so I'd def. add my 'vote' to this issue @brunojm :) it impedes an otherwise truly great integration! I think it's caused by some kind of error state where Readwise considers that the highlights have already been synced, but logseq doesn't have them. Maybe due to an initial failed sync? Accordingly, you can make missing highlights appear by going to the logseq preferences page, enable 'select items to be exported' and pressing 'refresh' next to your missing items on the far right I'm unsure if this causes subsequent highlights to be synced properly - I will report back. It's not really feasible long term/at high volume since you have to click each missing one but at least it's a workaround :) |
My main way to use it is to read and annotate in Reader, and then when I call LogSeq, the Readwise notes will be automatically synced to LogSeq, and then edited and rewritten in LogSeq.
Now I encounter a problem, in my mobile terminal readwise daily review of the previous card, the note I added during the review process can not be synchronized to logseq, these experiences generated in the process of reviewing the card are very important to me, and I also want to synchronize to logseq, how should this situation be handled? How can the notes added when reviewing cards be synchronized to LogSeq through the official plugin of ReadWise, and what are the detailed steps?
