1. Can you download WinUI 3 Gallery:
   https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9p3jfpwwdzrc
   Dialogs & flyouts -> ContentDialog -> Show dialog
   See if the menu is showing.
2. When you say you cant open menu do you mean the main interface?

I followed all the steps I still cant see the mainmenu cant change the wallpaper nor can i open lively

So this is a framework issue, outside my control.

I am assuming you have either removed some important windows system files or some of it is corrupted.

same problem, installed from store, can't open the main window (the first picture in the author's reply)

I found I can't open the Photo app also, do you have the same problem? maybe it's the same problem. @gwkasdfc172 @magoiche

That error just means the UI program crashed, don't know the exact cause.

The system Event Viewer should show an error code for Lively.UI.WinUI.exe crash.

The Photos (latest version uses WinUI 3) and WinUI 3 Gallery app not opening is a hint issue on system side, I used to get this error when people were running optimization scripts which removed microsoft apps and services or modified version of Windows... but recently this error started showing up more, wonder what changed recently?🤔

I download the .exe, it works fine...
and I uninstall it and reinstall from store, same problem again...

so the .exe version works, and store version stuck...
