tame "pdflatex" and "lualatex" processes

Those LaTeX related processes, and the commands they spawn, could harm the overall health of the project. Maybe it helps by running them with a high niceness, lower i/o priority, or maybe there is even another way. At the same time, what should be avoided, obviously, are situations where they get stuck and no longer process properly.

One symptom is that the processes info tab no longer "connects", while these latex processes run.
