What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Connect iJab to a EJabberD server
2. Let another buddy connect using Pidgin or other client
3. Send a message to the Pidgin user.
4. For each message send from iJab, Pidgin shows 2 messages - first is a blank 
message and the second is the actual message sent. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.0-beta3-2
