If a file is hosted on XBackBone, it is a) in a silo b) burdening the instance with content distribution. It would be great if XBackBone could use something like IPFS (Inter Planetary File System) to help with data availability.
Describe the solution you'd like
Current situation: a popular file self-hosted on XBackBone is available a) only on that instance b) using only that instanceś bandwidth to deliver the file.
Proposal: People who value the file can one-click host it on their own XBackBone instance, where it can be discovered and served too.
Additional context
The ipfs-companion browser extension might be of use to help this.
